Yes, I recommend it. As far as “long term” strength/durability, etc., that doesn’t seem to be a problem since this material is extremely flexible. Just be careful when sliding on carpet or blankets ….. While this material is very elastic and pliable, it is also very “grippy” and “sticky”. Think of those very soft handkerchiefs. This material is very similar. So yes, this material has a lot of leeway in terms of stretching, but once it reaches its limit, I think it tears. I know this because I tinkered with the pattern.
